A new SPARK Park was dedicated at Memorial Parkway Elementary in Katy ISD. This is the seventh of 3o parks to be constructed with a grant from Houston Endowment, the Kinder Foundation, and the Powell Foundation to help with the City of Houston’s park desert initiative — for every resident to be within one-half mile or a ten-minute walk of a park.
